2D Isometric Tilemaps - Example Project

Description

This is an example Unity project focused on 2D Isometric Tilemaps and 2D Pixel Perfect Rendering.

Artwork is created by castpixel and you can view her Portfolio here: http://castpixel.tumblr.com/

The project contains:

  • Sets of Isometric Sprites & Tiles for building levels. These are all prepared to use Unity's 2D Pixel Perfect camera settings.
  • Pre-Made Rule Tiles; for Random Tile placement and Neighbour Tile layouts.
  • A set of Tile Palettes for different Tile types.
  • Decoration Prefabs for adding extra details and props; such as trees, rocks, barrels, pillars and more!
  • A Witch Character; already setup to to drag-and-drop into your level and walk around.
  • Several Example Biome Scenes already setup with Isometric Tilemaps, Decoration Prefabs Colliders, Witch Character and Pixel Perfect Camera.
  • An 'Empty' Biome Scene with everything setup for you to begin building levels!

Current Software Requirements

  • Unity 2018.3.0f2
  • 2D Pixel Perfect Package: 1.0.1-preview
  • Arrow Keys/WASD to move the Witch Character
