Installing Unstable Releases

Installing or upgrading to an unstable (beta or release candidate, RC) release of rippled

rippled release candidates and betas can usually be installed in the following ways:

  1. Build from source: https://github.com/ripple/rippled

  2. Ubuntu: https://xrpl.org/install-rippled-on-ubuntu.html

In step 5 of the docs, instead of stable, use unstable to get the release candidate. In other words, instead of bionic stable you should use bionic unstable.

  3. CentOS/RHEL: https://xrpl.org/install-rippled-on-centos-rhel-with-yum.html

Modify step 1 where you add the RPM repository to add an unstable repo; the baseurl for the pre-release repository is:

    https://repos.ripple.com/repos/rippled-rpm/unstable/
