Data Warehouse

The project involves performing a dimensional modeling , ETL Implementation , Reporting and analytics.

An OLTP dataset that consists of graduate studies applications and admission information is taken for performing dimensional modeling. Pentaho Kettle is used for ETL implementation and Tableau for reporting and analysis.

Steps Involved :

• Extract all the tables from the OLTP dataset
• Perform Denormalization
• Load dimension table
• Based on dimensions create fact
• With available dimension and facts generate reports
