Currently the tests are flaky and a lot of the testing infra seems like it hasn't been touched in a long time.
This is an opinionated draft about how I think we could simplify and hopefully stabilize testing of the provider.
I'm creating this as a draft PR already since I wanna see what Github Actions say 🤣.
