Currently Microstrategy and USG are custodying with 1, maybe 2 companies?

How does an increase in the amount of BTC (or not — say USG sells but MSTR stacks) at those custodians change anything from a protocol upgrade PoV?"

it might increase the power of custodians if there end up being only 2-3 qualified custodians that hold a lot of bitcoin and they all collude and refuse to upgrade their nodes. does the cost of creating a new custodian grow over time because of perceived brand/lindyness of existing custodians?
