Hernan’s Causal inference book (What If): This book really should be the book we use for Epi III. Unfortunately, it is just beyond the reach of most of our MPH students. I say that without any judgment. It would have definitely been beyond my reach as an MPH student. I think my job is to read it, digest it, and create a simplified, applied version that I can use (with R4Epi) for our Epi III text.

Statistical Modeling: A Fresh Approach: I particularly like how Daniel Kaplan describes models.
List ideas for new chapters below, by book part. If they move from an idea to a planned update, then add them to the R4Epi project board.
- Introduction to presenting results
- Effectively presenting your results
- Effectively using tables to present your results
- Creating tables with R and Microsoft Word
- Creating HTML tables
- Effectively using figures to present your results
- Creating figures for publication and presentation
We would like to eventually add a part on using Bayesian statistics. Keep it very applied.
