Describe the bug

Error message:

Hey, @ybukhman this looks very similar to #1261, so I'm going to close this as a duplicate. Please let us know if there is anything in that issue which solves your issue!

The following code seems to have solved my problem:
Sys.setenv(AWS_DEFAULT_REGION = "us-west-2")
