Realistic arcade overlay pack compiled and configured for usage with Retropie.

Realistic overlays (554 games)

Makes your TV look like you're in front of an arcade cabinet. They have screen glare included in the overlay, and are configured to run with a scanline + curvature shader (zfast_crt_curve).

The compilation is "complete", and does not care whether the games works on your raspberry pi, needs special hardware (lightgun...), does not work in MAME2003, etc.

However, if a parent game does not work in MAME2003 but one of its clone does, the config files will exist for both games; that's why there seem to be duplicates.

Mix between John Merit, OrionsAngel and Derek Moore works.

Installation

  • Open the configs shared folder on you retropie installation (\\retropie\configs\ on Windows, smb://retropie/configs on Mac)
  • Recommended: backup the folder content!
  • Copy the content of the configs folder from the pack into the share, and overwrite the files there.
  • Copy the contents of the roms folder alongside your roms.
