Hydro project goals:
- Gain experience with containerization/docker
- Use GitHub as a collaboration tool
- Reproducibility(in personal machine/virtual machines, e.g. Jetstream and AWS)
Set of actions:
- Set up GitHub repo
- Review existing code and run it in local environment
- Determine dependencies
- Define pipeline and run it in local machine with latest Conda based on https://www.hydroshare.org/resource/50c26ff32a1f461090a36eb0099dad76/data/contents/sadler_JoH_resource_diagram.png
- Start working on the docker
- Building docker containers for 3 pipelines (2 parallel, 1 common)
- Use binder to have an executable Jupyter notebook working
- Play with snakemake
