if you pick up a weapon when you have just one, your current weapon will go into your alternate slot, otherwise you'll drop your current weapon just like before.

weapons on the ground have ":123" appended to their name for 123 ammo in them.
I played through a couple of loops and didn't see any glitches from the palt() removals, but I could be missing some edge case.
