Emoji-java was forked by Minn but was also not updated, the org.json dependency also often had CVEs and required a version override.

There was also reported issues that Gradle users required the Jitpack repository as the fork was not published on Maven Central, when Gradle does not read transitive repositories.

There were also issues with reported emoji indexes, and fitzpatricks using an incorrect format

While the newer emoji library solves these problems, it still needs work to be done.

Waiting on felldo/JEmoji#22 and on next release
