Background

Copiparvoviruses are a genus within the Parvoviridae family, specifically classified in the Parvovirinae subfamily, which infects vertebrates. These viruses are less well-known than some other members of Parvoviridae, but they have been identified in a range of mammalian hosts, including humans and animals, making them relevant to both human health and veterinary science.
