This release adds integration with the online collaboration platform hale connect, the new transformation function Spatial Join and support for arbitrary SQL queries as a source schema and data source. Visit What's new in hale studio 3.3 to learn more about the new features.

Installation instructions

Using the Windows installer:

  • Download the 32-bit or 64-bit installer for Windows and run it

If not using the Windows installer:

  • On Mac OS X installing Java 8 JDK is required
  • Extract the archive to your local filesystem (to a folder where you usually have write access)
  • When using the DMG image on macOS: Mount the image and install hale studio by dragging the app to the Application folder
  • Run the hale studio executable (e.g. HALE.exe on Windows)

Note for Linux users: Please be aware of an issue that currently exists that can lead to very poor performance with some GTK versions. Please see this issue for a workaround.
