Building MCT is easy. Developers may wish to run MCT under Eclipse, using either MySQL (for a more deployment-like environment) or Apache Derby (for more streamlined development) as your user object database.

Integrating MCT into your operations can be as simple or as complicated as you need it to be. Depending on your needs, you might want to author your own data provider, event provider, user objects, or ways of viewing data. Since MCT is a platform and these are all plug-ins, you don't have to sacrifice interoperability just because you have unique needs.
