This is a utility for generating images with short focal depth using multiple images. The idea is to use a video taken looking out the side of a moving vehicle. Convert the video into frames using something like: mplayer -vo png videofilename Then run ./motionfocal.py --input data/ --begin 1 --end 30 --output output.png --offset 10 Where data is the directory where you put the frames. This will use the 29 first frames to generate output.png. Use a positive offset if the objects in the video are going right and a negative offset if the objects are going left. An offset of 0 will result in a focal point at infinity. Larger offsets will bring the focal point closer to the camera.
