Recipe App

The Recipe app keeps track of all your recipes, ingredients, and inventory. It will allow you to save ingredients, keep track of what you have, create recipes, and generate a shopping list based on what you have and what you are missing from a recipe. Also, since sharing recipes is an important part of cooking the app should allow you to make them public so anyone can access them.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Prerequisites

• Ruby
• Rails

Setup

• Make sure you have Ruby on Rails set up properly on your computer
• Clone or download this repo on your machine
• Enter project directory

Development Database

# Create user
sudo -u postgres createuser blog -s
# Create the database
rake db:create
# Create database Migration
rails db:migrate

Install

bundle install

Run

rails s

Test

rspec
