License header

Settings on this panel will only affect template files of NetBeans. That is, these settings can be configured, so that NetBeans automatically prepends the license to newly created files.

Description of properties

• Organization: Most predefined templates can replace the organization variable with a string in the license template. Settings this property allows for such templates to automatically replace the organization name in the license header. Setting this property is optional.
• License name: This is intended to be a short name of your license. You can select a license already defined in NetBeans or select "No license" to have no license or select "Custom license" to define the license header content explicitly.
• License template: This is the path to your license template file to be added to files. If you define a relative path here (which is recommended), it is considered to be relative to the directory of the root project. Note that NetBeans expects this file to be in a certain format, for reference see predefined license templates in "Tools/Templates/Licenses". You may only set this if you have "Custom license" selected for "License name".
