Welcome! This wiki describes how to use the BetaScan package. BetaScan implements the Beta statistics to detect ancient balancing selection. It takes in a file of variant positions and frequencies, and calculates a Beta statistic around each variant. Please select a topic from the menu to the right to begin learning about BetaScan.
