Global Noise & Vibration Intern (June 2018 – August 2018)

• Developed pedestrian noise insulation metric by benchmarking competitors and the customer requirements
• Created a script to cut data handling time by 8 hours per vehicle
• Tested for pedestrian, driver, and passenger noise & vibration levels

Advanced Composites Co-Development & Pickup Boxes Design Release Intern (June 2017 – August 2017)

• Performed R&D on joining carbon fiber thermoplastic through ultrasonic welding and metal joiners
• Formulated hypothesis, DOE, extracted conclusions, tested strength, iterated joiners
• Repurposed trimmed material by redesigning parts to meet required stiffness with 10 % less carbon fiber

Powertrain Control On-Boarding Diagnostics (OBD) Co-op (January 2016 – April 2016)

• Calibrated Misfire monitor for the 2016 Highlander to keep emissions within regulations while detecting 85 % of misfires
• Set up and ran tests in road load dyno and produced instructions for technicians, edited software, diagnosed using Panel3 and Techstream and assisted in demo testing the Sequoia
• Achieved compliance of CARB, EPA and Toyota standards in USA, Mexico, and Europe markets

Utilities COOP Student (June 2015 – December 2015)

• Provided technical support to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Utilities Systems
• Upgraded a water de-alkalizing system, analyzed pumping system performance, and updated CMMS
• Recommended a pump and motor replacement that would save 29 % annually in energy costs
