The issue where delve crashes on windows if started withouth the
detachedoption set tofalsewas actually solved as part of this issue: go-delve/delve#3864 and it is part of the1.24.0release: https://github.com/go-delve/delve/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#1240-2024-12-18So I updated the comments to specify that this option needs to be
falseonly on versions less than1.24.0.
