Usage Directions

Game Initialisation

    function startGame(address _player1) public payable;
    event gameStarted(gameId, player0, player1, StakeAmount);

msg.sender is player0. player0 starts the game with white.

Making moves

    function move(uint256 gameId,uint256 _move) public returns (bool isMoveSuccessful);

Chess board is defined by a single uint256. Every 4 bits on the board represents a position on the board. So, each piece on the board is also 4 bit. First bit of a piece denotes color(0 is white and 1 is black). Rest of the three bits denote type.

Foundry

Foundry is a blazing fast, portable and modular toolkit for Ethereum application development written in Rust.

Foundry consists of:

• Forge: Ethereum testing framework (like Truffle, Hardhat and DappTools).
• Cast: Swiss army knife for interacting with EVM smart contracts, sending transactions and getting chain data.
• Anvil: Local Ethereum node, akin to Ganache, Hardhat Network.
• Chisel: Fast, utilitarian, and verbose solidity REPL.
