Translating

Introduction

Mediashake is translated using Gettext in PHP, with a fallback whenever it is not installed on the server.

How-to

Translations are stored in .po files, which are derived from the main .pot file. The files will be updated as new strings are added.

Translators can use tools such as PoEdit to easily translate the strings and output a .mo file, which is used by PHP.
