Application Purpose

This application is to be used to tail logs for the logger service.

It can be used to get logs from the logger service, but it is intended to allow for tailing logs. It will make the REST call to the service and tail those logs by repeatedly calling the given endpoint.

Logs retrieved will be delayed approximately 10 seconds.

How to use

Docker container

You can either get the Docker image from here: https://hub.docker.com/repository/docker/motivlabs/log-tailer

Or build it using a command like this:

docker build -f docker-tools/Dockerfile -t log-tailer:local .

Run the docker image with a command like this:

docker run --rm=true --network host --name log-tailer log-tailer:test <log tailer arguments>
