That seems to fix it for us too. While this PR is still pending, we've just applied these changes as a patch in our project 👍 |

2 weeks passed but no action from maintainer. I guess we should need to find an alternative or fork it. |

This is very naive attempt to fix an issue described in #1498. It seems to work in our limited use case, but haven't thoroughly tested it… 🤷
