Nspire CX ii findings

Firmware

The structure of the update files, and the update files in general has changed. Here's the new set of files.

bootloader.img
- Unknown format
- Could be "boot1"?
installer.img
- Opens with 7zip, reveals an "image.bin" file
- This file opens up into a bunch of .ldf files, not sure what they are.
- Purpose largely unknown.
osloader.img
- Unknown format/purpose
- Could be "boot2"?
osloader.dat
- Some kind of metadata file for the .img
TI-Nspire.img
- Seems to be the main OS image file (around 8.2mb)
- Unknown format
TI-Nspire.dat
- Some kind of metadata file for the .img
TI-Nspire.hdr
- Unknown format/purpose
TI-Nspire.rdh
- Unknown format/purpose
manifest.cer
- Seems to be the same as previous revisions of the firmware, details at hackspire.org
manifest.sig
- Likely some kind of signature.
manifest.txt
- A list of all files in the .tcc2 with their hashes.
embeddedresources.zip
- Seems to just be locales and some icons.
resources.zip
- Resources for some purpose. Seems calculator function and emulator related, given that there are some bundled emulator skins. Also contains stock folders such as MyWidgets and MyLib.
samples.zip
- Localized sample TNS files.
