This extension is not compatible with versions of Firefox later then 57 (Quantum). Please install 7.8.0 directly: https://new-xkit-extension.tumblr.com/firefox

If you're trying to recover your saved extensions from a previous version of XKit, you'll have to downgrade to Firefox 56 before installing 7.7.7.

This release improves the compatibility of the Embedded Web Extension for users with e10s/Multiprocess disabled. All users should upgrade to this release, especially if they had trouble upgrading to 7.7.6.

The current plan is for this to be the last release of XKit for Firefox using the Addon SDK. This means that going forward the code for Chrome and Firefox will be unified, and under the same release cycle. If you're currently using Firefox 57 (in Nightly at the time of this release) then you won't be able to use this update, and you'll have to use a different release of Firefox to migrate your settings to the Web Extension versions.

If you're from the future, and upgrading to future versions of XKit from a version prior to this one, you'll have to install 7.7.7 first or use XCloud exports to make sure that your storage migrates correctly.

NOTE: Firefox may complain about getting a connection error when clicking the below link. If it does, right-click the link and select "Save link as...". Then navigate to 'about:addons' and drag the file onto that screen to install New XKit.
