NUS Orbital project(Apollo)

This software engineering project was worked on by Dai Jiu and Yi Yang.

Aim of project

Create a socialising web application for students to find like-minded people in order to form study groups, live-long friendships, etc.

Features

Sign up form with personality questions, followed by a k-means clustering algorithm to form groups of students by calculating the cosine similarity between multiple metrics.

Once assigned a group, you can begin to interact with like-minded peers in your group.

If not assigned yet, feel free to use the various public chat rooms or the forum to ask and answer questions.

Tech Stack

This project was created using ReactJS, HTML, CSS and Firebase. Conducted usability testing and User Acceptance Testing with several users.
