SweepAware is an solution anyone in the City of San Diego can use to get an SMS text alert the day before their scheduled streetsweeping is to take place.
- Prototype goal: web map user can enter address or drop pin indicating their location and cell phone number to receive text messages
- Secondary goal: a method for city staff to select areas on a map or via database that will not be swept. An SMS message can then be sent indicating cars will not be ticketed.
- Tertiary goal: a map indicating streets that have been swept in the last X number of days.
