Markers in the image panel last permanently

I just updated to the latest version 2.20.0 and the 3D markers once shown in the window will last permanently like below.

Once I downgraded to 2.19 then everything works as expected.
Not sure what was going on.

Can you please share some data that is not working so we can look into what might be different in handling the message data.

@defunctzombie Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation early this week. Unfortunately, I cannot share our internal bag at this time but I can provide some extra information to see if that helps.

The 3D bounding boxes each have their own IDs. The problem is that when a bounding box disappears, the 3D bounding box remains there until it shows the exact bounding box again, otherwise it will stay there forever.

I can confirm that by removing the ID from the Marker/MarkerArray, it can work fine as expected.

BTW, I am using Ubuntu 22.04 with humble running locally if that helps.

Nope, not yet. I upgraded it again with the apt install command to version 2.20.0 and the problem remains.

Yes, it's only in the web app right now, you can try it on https://app.foxglove.dev. It will be in the next desktop release which is probably going to be early next week.
