Welcome to the mill wiki!

mill aims to fulfill the same role that grind performed for Princeton WordNet. (It’s been named mill because it’s a synonym of grind and is also a prefix of Miller.) This means that mill validates lexicographer files written in human-readable format (see Syntax and Validation), and exports them to machine-readable formats (see Export). There is Editor Support for writting mill lexicographer files. You can also customize mill’s behaviour to a certain extent (see Configuration).

One departure from the Princeton WordNet model is that mill allows links between different WordNets, effectively allowing the development of multilingual WordNets.
