Full Stack Developer and tech enthusiast.

Oi! Meu nome é Patrick Paiva e eu sou um aspirante a Full Stack Developer. Estou finalmente buscando trabalhar com o que sempre amei, programação. Fiz meu primeiro site em 2005 e cheguei a ter contato com programação por causa de um jogo chamado Mu nos anos 2000, porém acabei seguindo por outro caminho que foi a engenharia. Após alguns anos no mercado, percebi que não me sentia confortável, embora tivesse performado nos lugares em que passei. Em 2019 esbarrei novamente com o mundo da programação e entrei de cabeça. Atualmente estudo Ciência da Computação no UFRJ e posso dizer eu amo o que eu estudo. Meu objetivo é poder criar ferramentas que melhorem a vida das pessoas. Que as ajude a diminuir seu tempo com burocracia e processos mecânicos, para que elas possam usar melhor sua energia e consequentemente viver melhor. Dentre as tecnologias que mais me interessei posso citar Java e Javascript. Fiz alguns cursos e pequenos projetos e me senti muito bem desenvolvendo Back-end com Node.js com Javascript e Spring Boot com Java. No Front-end desenvolvi sites apenas com HTML + CSS e também sites usando React com Next.js. O caminho ainda é longo, porém não falta dedicação e motivação!

Hi! My name is Patrick Paiva and I am an aspiring Full Stack Developer. I'm finally looking to work with what I've always loved, programming. I made my first website in 2005 and came into contact with programming because of a game called Mu in the 2000s, but I ended up following another path, which was engineering. After a few years in the market, I realized that I didn't feel comfortable, even though I had performed well in the places I've been. In 2019 I bumped into the world of programming again and jumped right in. I currently study Computer Science at UFRJ and I can say I love what I study. My goal is to be able to create tools that improve people's lives. I want to help them reducing their time with bureaucracy and mechanical processes, so they can better use their energy and so live better. Among the technologies I was most interested in I can mention Java and Javascript. I took some courses and small projects and felt very good developing Back-end with Node.js with Javascript and Spring Boot with Java. On the Front-end I developed websites with HTML + CSS and also websites using React with Next.js. There is still a long way to go, but there is no lack of dedication and motivation!
