AssetSystemTemplates
THE VFX Template Gallery enables picking a starting point upon creating a new VFX Graph or adding a new system in the VFX Graph window. It enables creating pre-configurations in project to kickstart editing.
Templates are organized in a window, and categorized, with a thumbnail preview and a description.
The template gallery can be accessed in two ways:

For VFX Graph Asset creation, use the
Visual Effect/Visual Effect Graph (from Template)
in the Create Asset menu. Select a template, then set the name of the VFX Graph Asset. At the bottom of thewindow, you have an option to create and add a game object in the scene directly upon asset creation. -
For adding a new system, use the
T
key shortcut in the Graph Window, or the menu entry in the VFX Extension Menu.
In order to create your new templates, please create a Visual Effect Graph Template
asset from the same menu as VFX Graph asset creation. In the inspector, you can also also take screenshots from the scene view using the menu in the inspector header (Useful for making your template screenshots)
- Category Name : The display name of the Category

Templates : The list of template entries for the Category
- Template Asset : The VFX used as content for the template
- Preview : A preview image for the template
- Name : Display Name of the Template
- Descript : A brief description of what the Template does
