Installation

With Fedora:

sudo dnf install neovim bat fzf ripgrep fd-find
sudo dnf copr enable atim/lazygit -y
sudo dnf install lazygit
sudo dnf fastfetch procs git-delta duf procs glances
cargo install du-dust
./install.sh

Neovim configuration

My neovim configuration is based on the LazyVim distribution. I manage it as a separate repository using git-subtree package.

Javascript configuration

I use node and bun as javascript runtime. The installation folders are controlled by:

export NVM_DIR="$XDG_DATA_HOME/nvm"
export NPM_CONFIG_USERCONFIG="$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/npmrc"
export BUN_INSTALL="$XDG_DATA_HOME/bun"

$NVM_DIR and bun are installed under $XDG_DATA_HOME. You can edit the given config file for npm with:

npm config edit --location=user

You can choose the version of npm with nvm:

# install and use node v17
nvm install 17
nvm use 17
# restore to system version
nvm use system
