uLearn is a microlearning platform is distributed under dual-licensing:
- commercial distribution with contracted support, and
- the MIT License in the spirit of Open Source.
Dual-Licensing Open Source Business Model was selected to minimize limits of platform development, distribution and use by commercial companies, education community, and individuals, which want to provide learning facilities for their services or products, especially on software systems design and support (in place of or in combination with user and developer documentation).
