Great repo, thank you very much for that awesome seed.
I faced some problems when running using TypeScript 2.1.6, seem to be known problems with typings/jasmine and typings/lodash (dependency of typedoc). The attached package.json fixed the problems for me.
In addition I upgraded to Angular 2.4.8.
Build and unit tests run fine.
