updating module to remove legacy facts and use the respective modern counterpart.

What black magic allowed this to work with Puppet 8 which is supposed not to have legacy facts by default?

@smortex you mean why the tests didn't catch that earlier? Because Perforce refuses to update FacterDB. The old version they pinned to still contains legacy facts. They finally did it end of december, but that's not yet released: puppetlabs/pdk-templates#593
