The 3.12-dev failures are due to changes between 3.12.0a4 and 3.12.0a5. Here's alpha 4 passing and alpha 5 failing: https://github.com/hugovk/blurb_it/actions/runs/4301170729/jobs/7498087458 For example: Looks like python/cpython#101292 / python/cpython#101291 is the cause, and Cython dealt with it in: cython/cython#5238 There's several libraries affected here: aiohttp, frozenlist, yarl. I've reported the first one: aio-libs/yarl#829 |

It will probably take a while for the dependencies to fix for alpha5. In the meantime, shall we pin the CI to alpha4, so we can keep it green and at least have some level 3.12 testing? (These failures are a good thing, it's helped us identify problems in three dependencies way ahead of the release :) |
