Currently, tags and categories have not had any strict rules applied to them.
We should have an idea of how to use them well.

I'm going through open issues at the moment ☺️ I'm a bit unsure what this one is about - but since it was referenced in #244 and merged does it mean that we can close this one?

no, it was just a relevant addition to this.
We need to go through tags and categories used and try to unify and maybe set up some rules on

  • when to add new categories and tags
  • what is the difference between a category and a tag
  • probably more I cant think of

Ah, I see! Thanks for the explanation ☺️ can you give an example that shows when you came across the problem? For instance, I was thinking of the blog and providing people guidance when writing an article (so ultimately our decision will end up in the guide, right?) - but you may have seen other use cases. From my experience they usually grow naturally but it makes sense to explain the difference and also try to add some conventions on when to add them. As a first starting point, we could digest the essence of this guide and maybe this one.

For info the tags pages are also not accessible via the posts lists, only from individual posts, and I wonder whether they should be more accessible?
