Hmm, I'm curious about the purpose of this. I do agree that it might be confusing to keep the entires since Amethyst is moving towards archival, but for historic reasons, it seems appropriate to have around. For newcomers to the gamedev ecosystem, I think it is still valuable to see the work that was done at one point, even if it's not maintained right now.

On top of this, Amethyst has many other tools in the ecosystem that are widely used. Veloren uses Specs, and has evaluated other ECS crates, but hasn't found another that would offer better performance for what is needed (as far as I remember). I do hope that these can stay mentioned on the site.

Anyways, these are my thoughts, I'm interested to see what others think :)

I think it's also worth mentioning that Amethyst is not the only inactive project in the engines section - in fact, I'd say probably the majority of them are. It feels a bit inconsistent to remove it while leaving the rest (though given that #95 has been open for 4 years, idk if that's going to change any time soon :p)

🤔 Ok, let's close this for now. I was going to prototype a special "archive" category anyway - maybe it's better to speed up this initiative :)

@ozkriff I like that idea a lot, feels like it'll be much easier to get consensus around that rather than removing crates entirely :)
