THIS IS A DRAFT - THE CONTEST IS NOT ANNOUNCED YET - TERMS HERE ARE NOT FINAL
- This page describes the terms and conditions of the contest for building the POET C++ server as described in this task.
- Contesters may apply to participate in the contest via Gitcoin (link will be added here)
- Only applicants who match the acceptance criteria according to Spacemesh open source maintainers and research team, will be approved to participate in the contest.
- Accepted contesters are expected to communicate with the Spacemesh open source maintainer(s) and research team members who will be available to answer technical questions about the task.
- Spacemesh open source maintainers and research team are available to answer any questions on the POET dev chat
- The Contest is only open to software developers who are allegeable to work in the US and who would like to apply to work full time in Spacemesh NY office in this position
- Contesters are expected to design an implement a solution to the task themselves without coding assistance from other developers as the goal of the contest is to award great developers for their skills, talent and creativity
- Submissions will be judged according to the criteria described in the github issue describing the task
- Submissions must be submitted using github.com pull requests by midnight EST, Feb 1st, 2019

Up to 3 contesters may be selected as Winners by March 1st, 2019 based on judging submissions based on the criteria specified here and in the contest Github issue by Spacemesh research team and open source maintainer(s)

Winners will be awarded in Ethereum cryptocurrency (based on the exchange rate at the date of payment) as follows:
- 1st place: $1500 USD
- 2nd place: $750 USD
- 3rd place: $375 USD

Winners will be invited for an interview in NY for the full time core developer position
