Inventor® Power Tools 1.2.0
New features
View style selection
When generating drawings, the drawing View Style applied to the views can be selected.
New button in drawing mode
When in drawing mode, a new button has been added to the Place Views
/ Create
ribbon. When clicked, it generates projected views of all selected views:
- First it adds a projected view to the left;
- Then it adds three projected views to the top.
This feature is especially useful for generating manufacturing drawings of sheet metal tubes.
Drawing type selection when generating sheet metal drawings
When generating drawings of sheet metal parts, the drawing type can now be selected:
- Sheet Metal Flat Pattern: Identical behavior as in previous versions;
- Base View with Left and 3 Top Projected Views: Adds a base view, adds a projected view to the left, and finally 3 projected views to the top. The behavior is identical to using the button in the
Place Views
/Create
ribbon when in drawing mode (explained above).
