Cosmo-Projectiles: AR Phsyics Simulation: Unity Project

Welcome to the repository of the AR Rocket Launch Simulation called Cosmo-Projectiles, a solo-project developed for the two-day Hackathon Shellhacks 2023 AR Challenge hosted by Microsoft. This project showcases a simple rocket launch simulation, offering an educative AR experience.

Requirements

  • Unity 2023.x or later
  • Microsoft Mixed Reality Toolkit 3 (MRTK3)
  • Microsoft HoloLens or a similar AR headset (Note: The project has been tested exclusively on Microsoft HoloLens)

Installation & Setup

  1. Clone the Repository: Clone this repository to your local machine.
  2. Unity Setup: Open the project in Unity 2023.x or later.
  3. MRTK3 Installation: Ensure that the MRTK3 is installed in your Unity setup for modification and enhancements.
  4. Device Setup: Setup your Microsoft HoloLens or a compatible AR headset for the best experience.

Modifying the Project

For modifications or enhancements, ensure you have MRTK3 installed in your Unity setup. Follow the official MRTK documentation for guidance on how to make modifications using the toolkit.

Running the Project

To run the project, build it in Unity and deploy it to the Microsoft HoloLens or a compatible device. Follow the Unity Getting Started Guide for more details on how to build and run the project.
