  • shelves on more walls and half walls

Other changes

  • first food in tutorial is now grapes, not berry bush. You start with half-filled bar.
  • removed trick to "stand on item" to avoid deadly animals
  • new players now have slower food burn (may or may not in effect yet)
  • you now get a message when a new player is born to you (may or may not in effect yet)
  • you can adjust UI size in settings page
  • minor changes to minitech UI, can do "STONE." for exact search
  • smooth VOG scrolling
  • show player's name under character when hovered
  • spawn code dropdown no longer goes off screen. Instead you can scroll or use up/down key to navigate

Advanced features in vanilla client:

Most (not all, intentionally) of the hetuw features are now re-implemented (means that they are deliberately not exactly the same, e.g. with a style more fitting to the vanilla game) in the base game. See ESC help screen, help message in UI, and hover tips in settings page and in the game for more info. (Ideally you should be able to know all the controls from the game.)

  • Coordinates, save with /MARK
  • Object finder, /FIND
  • Command shortcuts, you can save commands/speech and automatically input them with number keys
  • Permanent emote
  • Yum finder
  • Family display
  • dangerous tile, and avoidance with WASD (This is not fool proof, as in Hetuw, with the fix that removes "stand on item" trick)
  • Saving town planner maps
  • Show pips of held food
  • Updated help screen (also shows shift + right click to remove floor)
  • Grid lines for builders
