Notable Changes
- Physical prop modules have been moved to FreeIva. KerbalVR now requires FreeIva version 0.2.13.0 or later.
Bugs Fixed
- Duplicate experiment data is now automatically dumped when boarding a pod from EVA. This fixes an issue where the kerbal would get flung off into space.
- Added a disableTwist optional patch. This removes the ability to twist the flightstick (for people that have rudder pedals etc)
- Swapping kerbals is more reliable and no longer exits to the flight camera
- Added support for ASET switch_b_button props (used in SOCK)
- Better Vive controls

Notable Changes
- Near Future Props and HabTech Props are now supported. That means Near Future Spacecraft (including Vexarp!), Stockalike Station Parts Expansion, HabTech2, Planetside, SOCK, ACK, etc should all mostly work.
- Added breakable props - careful with those beakers!
- Restock is now supported
- Kerbal eye position is now defined in the settings.cfg file

Notable Changes
- You can now grab ladders, railings, and the interior walls of the spacecraft to move yourself around. WARNING: this is a little flaky, and if you find yourself flung out into space just hit C on the keyboard to return to your seat.
- Physical Props: Many objects in the cockpits can be grabbed and moved around. Some even have special interactions when you press the PinchIndex or the PinchThumb button while holding them. The ALCOR pod is a great testbed for this.
- Added a dialing wand: activate the pinch action (PinchIndex and PinchThumb together) to summon a narrow stick you can use to push buttons and flick switches when your fingers are too big for the job.
Bugs Fixed
- Fixed hand skew when grabbing things that are non-uniformly scaled
- Improved kerbal head hiding logic
- Fixed hiding the kerbal arms when using non-default suits
- Fixed abnormal world scaling for good this time (I hope!)
- Fixed the up/down animations on the ASET HUD prop
- Fixed crashes caused by internal cameras (this was actually fixed in RasterPropMonitor)

EVE: Volumetric clouds VR support
This is a build of EVE that supports the new volumetric clouds in VR. To install:
- Subscribe to blackrack's patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/blackrack
- Download and install the latest early access EVE build. Be sure to completely remove your previous EVE and Scatterer folders. DO NOT install the Scatterer.dll from the KerbalVR Optional Mods over the new one.
- Extract the Plugins folder from the zip file below and replace GameData/EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements/Plugins

Full VR Mission Support
The goal for this milestone is to be able to complete a full mission in career or science mode (say, a mun landing) without needing to take off the headset or touch the keyboard (except for map mode, if you need it). If you find yourself needing to remove the headset, please send feedback on the discord.
Notable Changes
- Kerbal hands and gloves (thanks @Icecovery!). If you prefer human hands, there is a patch file in the
Optional Mods
folder that you can drop into GameData. - Part action window (PAW) support: while on EVA or in external view, hold the
RightClick
button on either controller. This opens the PAW for your kerbal, and activates a laser on the other hand. Aim the laser at a part you want to interact with and press theRightClick
action on that controller to select it. To interact with the PAW, tap it with your fingertip. NOTE the PAW does not update or work properly if the game doesn't have focus. Make sure you have the game window active on your PC! - Toggling the suit lamp and jetpack are now buttons in the PAW (because the RightClick button is where the suit lamp button used to be)
- Added support for kerbal parachutes - deploy it through the PAW and then use either thumbstick to steer.
- Added a setting to control the range of motion of the fingers. There is a patch file in the
Optional Mods
folder you can install to enable this. This should allow the fingers to uncurl further if you're using certain controller types that don't have capacitative touch sensors. Or you may prefer the hand to be fully open even when holding a controller. - When using an input mode that supports full finger tracking (e.g. ALVR), the pinch action is now activated whenever the index and thumb fingertips are close together. The pinch gesture also activates the PAW/laser system when in EVA or external view.
- Added support for deployable parts (science, lamps, etc): Tap on the deployment icon in the PAW and then press the Jump action to place it. There is no cancel button.
- You can now switch between kerbals on EVA by activating the grip action on their torso (just like IVA) or selecting them with the PAW and tapping "SwitchTo"

- Using the grip action on EVA will no longer teleport you to the ladder
- Hands will not be deleted when crashing the ship
- ASET autopilot buttons (clear node, clear target, mechjeb buttons) are now functional
- Don't automatically enter VR mode when entering a scene that supports it
- Hands no longer stay clenched after using hatches
- Improved throttle lever collider position
