Common Errors

These are some commonly seen errors when installing or using GITR. Please refer to this page first before contacting the GITR devs.

NcException when running GITR

Error script appears during run output, before the first time-step occurs.

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'netCDF::exceptions::NcException'

Aborted

Solution: Ensure that you have created a folder called output in your run directory. This is reiterated at the end of the README in the "Running the GITR executable" section.
