Request: could you add a readme.md file, maybe also describing the already existing thermal examples?

Question: why is this under "imaging"? Sorry if I am totally misunderstanding things, but it does not look like these simulations are aimed at obtaining an image or computing a dose. If it is indeed neither dosimetry nor imaging nor GPU, then maybe we should make a separate top directory for "thermal" examples?
