Hunger and Thirst User Test
We have implemented the function of the Hunger and Thirst system and designed the expression form of them:
- The Food and Water system:
- Effects of the Hunger and Thirst system:
- When the character is experiencing hunger or thirst, he will slow down.
- Taking food will decrease the hunger level.
- Drinking water will decrease the thirst level.
This user test is to get enough feedback to improve our function and effect model.
Our survey is divided into two parts:
- Potential target population:

- Experience the actual game flow.
- After the end, we interviewed a few questions about the hunger and thirst system.
- Professional developer/designer:
- We will tell them directly where we need to test.
- Show them prototypes and animation effects.
- Ask them questions about each part of the hunger and thirst system.
Potential target population:
- What do you think is the role of the hunger and thirst system in the gameοΌ
- After watching the effects of the hunger and thirst system and experiencing the game, which one do you like the most?
- What do you think needs to be improved?
- What do you expect to appear in the future?
Professional developer/designer:
- Do you think the manifestation of hunger and thirst is consistent with its function?
- From the aesthetic point of view, what do you think needs to be improved?
- From the principle of interaction, do you think the manifestation of the hunger and thirst system is reasonable?

- In summary, all responders give their praise to the Hunger and Thirst Test. Some minor issues have been raised and will be considered in the next sprint. Since the game is keeping updating, some participants may leave feedbacks based on an older version of the game, but their opinions are still recorded. More participants who successfully see the latest game are all happy with the new feature and give us a thumb up. Even the hunger and thirst system is a relatively small feature, our team members still devoted themselves to make it more enjoyable. And so, all the working has received good reviews from most feedbacks.
- We thank everyone who participates in our test evaluation, and every feedback will be valued.
