Overview

WooDNSword Registrar is a program that uses the WDNS protocol, administrating and facilitating a network of WDNS registrants and resolvers. A WDNS registrar is effectively the "center" of a WDNS network.

Role

WDNS Registrar provides the ability to:

  • Register domain names (with registrants)
  • Unregister domain names (with registrants)
  • Update domain registrations
  • Control domain registration (with registrants)
  • Control domain access (with resolvers)
  • Handle domain reservation requests (with registrants)
  • Handle domain reservation renewals (with registrants)
  • Handle domain reservation cancellations (with registrants)
  • Fulfill resolve requests (with resolvers)
