Make sure you have DAP access and can view Diffusion Marketplace metrics
The confirmation email sent by the DAP admins will contain a link to access GA. You will also be taken there with just https://analytics.google.com. Be sure that you are logged in to your va.gov email Google Account that you set up in step 1 above.
The default view in GA will look like this - if it doesn't click on the "Home" icon/tab in the left hand navigation.
By default GA will have the "GA4 Sandbox Account" selected. Click on the Account Drop Down List and select the "Veterans Affairs Agency Profile" account.
After you have selected the "Veterans Affairs Agency Profile" account the view should look like this - with the "Reports" actions in the left side Nav:
When you select different metrics/reports from the left nav - by default you will see data aggregated for all VA web sites.
In order to filter data for only Marketplace prod data ie., (https://marketplace.va.gov) - For example select "Behaviors > Site Content > All Pages". You want to click on the "advanced" filter button and add a filter that "Begins with" "marketplace.va.gov/" and click "apply". You can filter most reports this way. You can even be more specific for example if you wanted to compare innovation show page metrics you could put in "Begins with" "marketplace.va.gov/innovations".
This is the "advanced" filter view.
Disclaimer: I did all the following steps on CAG… but if your running analytics locally with your “va” email google account you should good.

Copy or click on the link above and you will see this page: Select the “Veterans Affairs Agency Profie” from the drop down and click on Create.
Go to the “Verterans Affairs Agnecy Profile” and navigate to any page with the “Add Segment” button at the top and click “Add Segment”.
The “Add Segment view displays” … you should now see a segment in the “Segent List” that is “marketplace.va.ogv”. Select that segment and UnCheck the “All Users” segment so that we are only seeing data for marketplace.va.gov’.
Click apply – and you should be good to go. The Segment filter will persist for your session but keep in mind it doesn’t persist on the server.. so the next time you login to Analytics.. you’ll have to select the “marketplace.va.gov” segment again.
