Monitor page
The monitor page should show both a good overview of how the system is functioning along with any problems, as well as detailed statistics at various levels of organization (by room, building etc.)
- A news-feed should should recent activity
- Banal events (projectors turned on), possible issues (projectors left on, lamps nearing their end, filters needing to be replaced, etc.)
- Errors/serious issues should be prioritized (rooms unreachable, devices unplugged, etc.)
- System utilization
- For example, show percentage of rooms in use over time
- Some metric of electricity
- Projectors on over time
- User should be able to set notifications for various channels (email, SMS, IM, etc.)
- Notify things like when a projector bulb is nearly out, error conditions (like room down)
- Per-room statistics
- Show graphs and data for room utilization
- Show any events pertaining to that room
- Allow setting of notifications for just that room
